REOPENING DATES FOR FLEET AIR ARM MUSEUM AND NATIONAL MUSUEM OF THE ROYAL NAVY SITES

It’s been all hands on deck but today we are delighted to announce our reopening dates for The Fleet Air Arm Museum and the National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool.

They are:

The safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff is our number one priority and therefore we will be asking ALL visitors - including 12 month ticket holders and members - to book a visiting slot online.

Tickets will be available to pre-book from Thursday 6 August 2020 at 12 noon and returning visors will also be able to book their visiting slot as well.

Any visitors who already hold a 12 month ticket which is still valid will receive an extension reflecting the same amount of time that the site has been closed. In the case of the Fleet Air Arm Museum that is 150 days.

For the National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool it will be 171 days. You will be able to register for this extension when the website goes live on the 6 August.

Any visitors whose ticket expired during the closure period will receive an extension which will start from the day the site closed and will run until the expiry day of your ticket. So if you had 30 days still to run on your ticket, 30 days will be added to it, from our reopening date.

We will be contacting you via email shortly to provide more detailed information on how you can arrange this. More information on our safety measures and ticket extension policy will be available on our website on Thursday 6 August.

Download our COVID-19 risk assessment document fro more information on the measures we are taking to ensure a safe re-opening.

We hope to announce our plans for our Portsmouth and Gosport sites later this week.

We hope to see you soon!
