Pickle Night is back for 2026!
Step aboard HMS Warrior at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard for a night of nautical adventure, celebrating the Battle of Trafalgar and the legendary HMS Pickle—the fastest ship at Trafalgar, which delivered news of victory and the loss of Admiral Lord Nelson back to Britain.
What to Expect
After a sell-out year, Pickle Night returns on 6th November 2026 for another unforgettable evening. Guests will celebrate the HMS Pickle’s role in the Battle of Trafalgar through an immersive below-decks experience featuring traditional mess-table dining, sea shanties, lively naval banter, and enthusiastic audience participation.
Dining and Drinks
Guests will enjoy a hearty two-course meal, choosing between a beef or vegetarian stew served with crusty bread, followed by the classic British dessert Spotted Dick with custard. A welcome drink will be provided at the start of the evening. Throughout the night, a pop-up bar and shop will be available for additional refreshments and keepsakes.
Join the Crew
Your Master at Arms, Martin Jakeman, will lead proceedings, bringing the stories, etiquette, and humour of the lower deck to life. Guests are organised into Gun Crews at each table, with individual roles assigned to give everyone a taste of life as a sailor.
Check out the crew roles here.
