HELP CARE FOR OUR COLLECTION
Every item in our collection requires detailed care and conservation to ensure their preservation for future generations. We have therefore selected a handful of objects from our archive which we believe tell a unique and interesting story and have offered them for you to adopt in support of the new Royal Marines Museum Campaign.
Each object has an overall adoption target against it giving you the opportunity to be an exclusive adopter or a contributor donor to help us meet the overall target.
Any donation through this scheme will help us to safeguard and showcase an important historic collection of global significance through the opening of a new and fitting Royal Marines Museum.
- All adopters will receive a postcard photograph of their chosen object along with acknowledgment of their generosity on our fundraising web page.
- Adopters contributing over £120 will additionally receive acknowledgment within the new museum including an invitation to the grand re-opening.
- Adopters contributing over £500 - in addition to all the above - will receive an exclusive offer of a behind the scenes museum experience where you will be able to handle your object and find out more about the project from a member of museum staff. NB: due to the complexity of the collections move, objects will not be accessible before summer 2020.
Please note that if you do not leave your contact details when making a donation, we will be unable to acknowledge your generosity.
If you do not wish to leave your details on our JustGiving page then please email fundraising@nmrn.org.uk to claim your certificate and to be registered for additional benefits.
If you have any queries, please contact Fundraising Team / fundraising@nmrn.org.uk
