This summer, find out about the amazing wonders of the sea and get up close to a range of animals who live there including snakes, spiders and snails.
This summer, get ready to dive beneath the waves as we team up with Zoolab to find out more about the amazing animals who consider the sea or one of the ships their home. They will be talking all about the oceans that our great Royal Navy Pioneers have been to and the many wonders within the aquatic world below them, after all, all life on earth comes from the Ocean.
So set sail for the museum and get the chance to get up close and hands-on with exotic animals such as snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, giant snails, millipedes, cockroaches, lizards and gerbils.
During the day the team at Zoolab UK will be bringing the animals out one at a time and taking them around so that everyone can have the opportunity to see them up close and handle them. Don't worry not all the animals are handled, the tarantula and scorpion are just display animals. Throughout the day the team will have different animals out for short periods and will have all the animals set up within display tanks so at all times there’s lots to see and something to handle.
This event is free with a valid museum ticket.
