Lt Cdr Danielle Welch is one of a rare handful of pilots to have flown operationally for both the Royal Navy and the RAF.
Beginning with gliders at university, she qualified as a Royal Navy helicopter pilot on the Lynx — then was selected for fast-jet training and joined 3 Squadron RAF, flying the Typhoon.
In this exclusive talk she'll trace that unlikely journey, sharing her personal experiences.
