From 27 – 30 May, join costumed interpreter Martin from Martin’s Heritage World as he brings the legendary Swordfish aircraft to life through captivating stories of bravery, innovation, and the crews who flew these remarkable missions. With engaging storytelling for all ages, this is a unique chance to discover the human side of one of aviation’s most iconic aircraft. These immersive talks will take place Wednesday-Saturday, at 11:00, 12:30 and 14:00 each day.

In addition to our incredible storytelling sessions, families can enjoy free “make and take” activities on 25-29 May, where young visitors can build and decorate their very own mini Swordfish to take home.

Both of these activities are perfect for curious minds and budding historians alike, Spirit of the Swordfish is an inspiring and hands-on day out this half term.
