May Half Term: Spirit of The Swordfish
Step into history this May Half Term at the Fleet Air Arm Museum with Spirit of the Swordfish.
Join costumed interpreter Martin from Martin’s Heritage World as he brings the legendary Swordfish aircraft to life through captivating stories of bravery, innovation, and the crews who flew these remarkable missions. With engaging storytelling for all ages, this is a unique chance to discover the human side of one of aviation’s most iconic aircraft. These immersive talks will take place Wednesday-Saturday, at 11:00, 12:30 and 14:00 each day.
As well as Martin, from Monday-Friday families can enjoy free “make and take” activities, where young visitors can build and decorate their very own mini Swordfish to take home.
Perfect for curious minds and budding historians alike, Spirit of the Swordfish promises an inspiring and hands-on day out this half term.
This event is free with a valid museum ticket.
