Located in the heart of our vast exhibition halls is our fully enclosed Agusta Westland conference room.

With a large projector screen, PA equipment, and a range of layout options, this space is an ideal area for corporate events such as workshops, presentations and away days. Or if you're thinking of booking this space for a private event, we can adapt the space to suit you needs whatever the occasion.

Flight Deck

Immerse yourself in our extraordinary Aircraft Carrier Experience and host your next event on the Flight Deck.

This large yet versatile space has a stage area and makes it ideal for award ceremonies, large conferences, dinner parties and product launches.

Swordfish Centre

Discover our truly unique Swordfish Centre, located adjacent to the main museum. Whether you're wanting theatre style or round tables, there is space to accommodate the largest of groups.

Complete with a bar area to the back of the centre, perfect for serving interval drinks, the Swordfish Centre is a blank canvas waiting to be transformed for your event. With ease of access from car park directly into the Swordfish Centre, this space is used for indoor markets, parties, concerts, theatre productions and more.

Learning Centre

The Learning Centre provides the ideal space for you to hold workshops, meetings and smaller conferences.

With a projector screen and PA equipment, as well as area for refreshments throughout the day, the space offers a chance for colleagues and clients to meet and maximise time out of the office.

Outside Area

Take advantage of our flexible outside spaces overlooking RNAS Yeovilton. Whether it’s cinema screenings in our car park, community events on the green, or something else entirely, our outside spaces can greatly enhance your event.

We can offer exclusive access to this space on Mondays and Tuesdays (outside of school holidays). The exact capacity is dependent upon the layout and nature of your event.

The Fleet Air Arm Museum can advise you on all aspects of your event, including introducing our partner contractors such as caterers. For more information about our venue, our equipment and services provided by the Museum and it’s partners, please discuss your requirements with our Events Manager who will be pleased to advise you further. All prices are indicative of venue hire only and do not include either in-house or contract catering.

By car

The Museum is located at Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) Yeovilton - also known as HMS Heron. It is on the B3151 just off the A303 and A37. It is accessible from the M5 motorway, junction 25 at Taunton. If you are using a Sat Nav device, the postcode is BA22 8HW

By rail

The Museum is accessible via rail and public transport: Visitors are advised to access mainline routes to Yeovil Pen Mill, Yeovil Junction or Castle Cary stations.

Please note you will need to book a taxi to and from the museum if using a rail service.

We welcome all guests to our venue spaces and we have tried to make it as safe as possible. However, some of our spaces are historic buildings and ships, and we know that there can be challenges for some guests.

For those who believe they will be limited, please discuss any accessibility requirements with your Event Manager who will be able to advise and we can provide on-site additional support if needed.

Yes, we are able to offer discount if you are a military personnel wishing to book one of our venues. Please let our Event Manager know upon enquiry and they will be able to discuss this with you in more detail.

We are able to offer discounted group tickets to one or all of our attractions at Portsmouth and Gosport to be part of your hire. If you'd like to add this option to your booking, then please discuss this with your Event Manager who will be able to help build you a bespoke offer.
