Dearest Reader, You are cordially invited to a Regency Ball at the National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool. Dress in your finest clothes or Georgian inspired attire as you step back in time to the era of Jane Austen and attend an incredible themed dance.

Start your evening with a welcome drink on board HMS Trincomalee, a historic ship from the Georgian era where it will feel as though you have stepped into the pages of a Jane Austen novel. After delighting in the historic surroundings, guests can make their way across the recreated Georgian Quayside to a themed Ballroom where they can dance the night away at a Regency Dance hosted by Dance the Past which includes classical and nautical themed music before enjoying a classic finger food buffet meal.

Guests to the ball can also join us for an optional pre-ball dance workshop ran by Dance the Past to learn the steps before the main event. This workshop is held at the museum at 2.30pm on the same day and is included within the ticket price
