Join us over May half term for a birthday bash to celebrate the big 6-0! Whether you have been visiting for years or the museum is your newest find we want to welcome you for some fun events that everyone can enjoy.
Our birthday celebrations will include:
Balloon Bonanza -27th & 28th May
Join balloon artist David Croft underneath Concorde between 10:30 and 12:30, and 13:00-15:00 to see a giant balloon Concorde. Visitors can also take home their own balloon aircraft!
Build your own aircraft – 29th-31st May
Join the team from Brick Ideas under Concorde all day, to make your own brick aircraft from the museum’s past, present or future.
In addition to these activities, visitors can also explore the museum, discover our range of historic aircraft and get hands on with our interactive exhibits. You can also treat yourself to some treats in our café or run off any extra steam in our outdoor play area.
