Weekend Warriors – Ship guides on HMS Warrior - Volunteer Role

The National Museum of the Royal Navy is looking for volunteers to be part of the volunteer crew on HMS Warrior in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Our volunteers are key to engaging visitors and telling the story of this mighty warship of the Victorian era - from what life was like on board for the crew to how the ship was powered. We are looking for new crew members for Saturdays and Sundays.

What’s involved?

• Engaging visitors
• Learning and researching the ship, crew and history of the Royal Navy in the Victorian era
• Sharing knowledge about the ship and Victorian navy
• Available on Saturdays and/or Sundays
