Salary:  £9.00 +13.5% holiday pay per hour (£10.22 per hour)
Casual Staff are required to cover for staff absences, and additional paid hours primarily at weekends and during school holidays.

We are recruiting for Casual Team Members to join our friendly visitor experience team working in a unique heritage environment. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking for a customer facing role to deliver a first class visitor experience at our exceptional attraction.

Reporting to the Visitor Experience Managers and Supervisors, this varied role is pivotal in creating the NMRN’s vision to become the world’s most inspiring Naval Museum.

We are looking for friendly and outgoing individuals who will be confident engaging with our audiences. We want every visitor to have an extraordinary and enriching experience, every time they visit. As a Team Member you’ll ‘make it happen’ whether you're welcoming visitors on arrival, serving on the tills or positioned out and about engaging within our galleries.

Key Opportunities

• Ability to work as part of a great team engaging with visitors and ensuring they are having a fantastic time within a unique heritage working environment.

• This is a varied role with the opportunity to work in our shop, cafe and within our galleries. Please note training for the role will initially begin in our catering area.

Knowledge/Experience

• Experience of working in a customer focused environment with catering / retail sales knowledge being an advantage.

• Display an interest in developing knowledge of the Royal Navy’s stories and heritage to share with visitors and colleagues.

• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety and Security requirements and a willingness to learn more.
