Team Members - based in Gosport – Grade 1 £9.00 per hour

Fixed Term Contracts
30th March – 1st November 2020

• 37.5 hours per week (two-week pattern, including every other weekend) £17,550 per annum (pro-rata for the fixed-term) 
• 22.5 hours per week (two-week pattern, including every other weekend) £10,530 per annum (pro-rata for the fixed-term)
• 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday (4hour shifts) £9,360 per annum (pro-rata for the fixed-term)
• 8 hours per week - weekends (4 hours Saturday and 4 hours Sunday) £3,744 per annum (pro-rata for the fixed-term)
• 4 hours per week – Saturday, £1,872 per annum (pro-rata for the fixed-term)

Casual Team Member Positions, based in Gosport – Grade 1 £9.00 per hour

Casual work is suited to those individuals who want to work flexibly in terms of days and hours, we will offer work when available (normally to help cover annual leave and during high peak times) and individuals can let us know if they are available to work.

 

The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) is recruiting Team Members to join our Visitor Experience team in Gosport.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to work at The Royal Navy Submarine Museum and The Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower. The successful candidates will be expected to work across both sites in all areas, including retail and catering outlets.

Reporting to Duty Managers, these varied roles are pivotal in creating the NMRN’s vision to become the world’s most inspiring Naval Museum.

Knowledge/Experience

Ideally candidates will have:

• Experience of working in a customer focused environment with retail and sales knowledge.

• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety and Security requirements and a willingness to learn more.

• The ability to communicate and engage with a wide and varied audience.

This job role does involve a requirement to work outside in varied weather conditions.
