Public Events Manager

Public Events Manager based in Portsmouth with occasional travel to other NMRN locations
Salary (Grade 4):  £22,350 - £25,700 per annum (dependent upon experience)

37.5 hours per week - Permanent


The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) is recruiting for a Public Events Manager to join the Operations Team in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the NMRN’s approach to its public events. The NMRN has an aspiration to create a step change in programming.

We are looking for an ambitious Public Events Manager who will bring a flair for enterprise, helping us to deliver inspiring, engaging, adventurous and imaginative public events.

Knowledge/Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience of developing and delivering public events and corporate functions, including an understanding of entertainment and licencing regulations.

Must demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for events management.
