Bookings and Evaluation Administrator

Salary:  £16,575 - £18,000 per annum (dependent upon experience – pro rata salary £ 13,260 - £14,400 per annum)

30 hours per week – permanent

The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) is recruiting a Bookings and Evaluation Administrator to join the LEAP (Learning, Engagement, Access and Participation) team at the National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative support for our LEAP team. The role will include liaising with our trade and bookings teams to ensure we follow a smooth and efficient booking process for learning workshops, gathering and processing evaluation data, general administrative support for the LEAP team and ensuring that we are compliant with GDPR when handling and processing data.   

You will be an experienced administrator with experience of using computerized booking systems and a high level of skill in using Excel and Outlook. 

Reporting to the Head of Access and Participation this role will help us in achieving the NMRN’s vision to become the world’s most inspiring Naval Museum.

Applicants must enjoy administration work and be competent across a range of administrative tasks operating Windows-based software, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Applications should have a methodical approach, an attention to detail and experience of using computerised bookings systems.

The ability to organise and prioritise workload and balance competing demands is essential. An interest in museums and/or arts administration would be an advantage.
