Will Sofrin: 'All hands-on deck' Master and Commander 20th Anniversary
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the movie Master and Commander come and meet Will Sofrin, the author of 'All hands-on-deck'.
Join author Will Sofrin as he talks about his experience of sailing the tall ship Rose (a replica of HMS Rose) from Rhode Island to California to make the film Master and Commander.
Hear his incredible stories of this remarkable and intense voyage, such as when they sailed through Force-12 conditions and were dismasted under full sail in the middle of the Caribbean Sea!
After the talk there will be a special showing of the film Master and Commander (additional ticket cost will apply - option to add screening tickets will occur after registering for talk entry).
This event will be taking place in Action Stations Auditorium on Sunday 15th October at 1pm. Entry to the talk is included in a valid ticket to Action Stations, with the film screening costing £7 per person. Seats are limited so pre-booking is essential.
