Squadron Leader Joe Marsden RAF (Retd) was a pilot of both the Vulcan and Canberra aircraft and enjoyed a long and varied career in the RAF but his talk this evening will be centred around the Vulcan.

The Society of Friends of the Fleet Air Arm Museum monthly evening talk.

This talk will take us through the crew composition, planning, dressing and practicalities of operating the aircraft in three roles – Maritime Reconnaissance, Air Sampling and bombing with 27 Sqn and 617 (Dambuster) Sqn.
