Join us as the Quay is transported back to the 1940s and the height of the second world war. Hear about the wartime service of RML 140 and our plans for it’s future. Learn all about the untold story of HMS Foudroyant and its role during the war in the 1940s. Enjoy meticulously recreated military vehicles and weapons displays as you relive the spirit of the era. Be wowed by an explosive firing display at 1pm, and don’t miss the chance for the kids to get involved in a ‘Join The Home Guard’ activity, with interactive drills.
These activities are free with a valid museum ticket.
